HIGH-LEVEL FORUM ON: THE EU VISION FOR TRUSTWORTHY AI IN THE WORLD
Artificial Intelligence (AI) can contribute to reaching the European Green deal targets and global Sustainable Development Goals in various ways. This can be, for example, through a more efficient use of scarce resources, prediction and management of environmental impacts, optimisation of production processes, and policy foresight ideas. A global value-based conversation is needed to address the opportunities as well as implications of AI for sustainability and the green transition.
During this workshop a number of renowned international experts explored the role of AI to support the green transition and showcased example of EU research to promote the EU vision to promote sustainable and trustworthy AI in the world.
